Projects

Kappa Phi Chapter takes part in a wide variety of service activities which benefit many different aspects of the community, the nation, the school, and the fraternity. Examples of our activites are listed below, by semester.

Fall 2007:
• Halloween Party hosted for SLU Buddies in Brazier Falls(in progress)
• Participation in Make a Difference Day
• APO Sponsored Can Drive
• APO Chapter Retreat Service Project to Curtis S. Read Scout Reservation in Brant Lake, NY

Spring 2005:
• Helped at a 50/50 Raffle for Cancer Research at a Men's Hockey game
• Organized, helped run, and donated to two Red Cross Blood Drives
• Raised $100 to aid the victims of the Tsunami in Asia by selling carnations at the Mardi Gras Theme Dinner
• Hosted a President's Day themed event for 3-6 graders at Canton Free Library
• Participated in Relay for Life
• Co-Sponsored a Pancake Eating Contest for the Canton Food Pantry
• Hosted an activity evening for local kids
• Helped at the St. Lawrence Marathon
• Ran a Book Drive to promote literacy in Africa

Fall 2004:
• Helped with National Make-A-Difference Day
• Entertained residents of a local retirement home
• Raised money for hurricane relief with a First Year Penny War
• Sold LIVESTRONG bracelets for cancer research
• Donated to and delivered Giving Tree gifts to make local children's christmases happier
• Organized, help run, and donated to 2 Blood Drives
